Genie Solutions to be acquired by The Citadel Group

Leading medical practice management software provider, Genie Solutions, is pleased to announce that it has been acquired by The Citadel Group, a leading Australian enterprise software firm.

Genie was founded in 1995 and has grown to become the market leader in software for medical specialists to help manage their practices more efficiently.

Mr James Scollay, Genie Solutions CEO, said he was excited for the next phase of Genie’s growth as part of The Citadel Group.

“Genie will be a great fit amongst Citadel’s group of companies, particularly within its
healthcare software segment where it has built a market leading presence in clinical and diagnostic software, servicing public and private sector clients throughout Australia and the UK,” Mr Scollay said.

Mr Scollay thanked IFM Private Equity for its partnership approach and its strong investment in Genie as its majority owner since 2017.
