Genie Solutions finds perfect home within Citadel Group to expand market-leading health software footprint

The Citadel Group is pleased to announce the completion of its acquisition of Genie Solutions. Genie Solutions is a Brisbane based health software company providing practice management software to 65% of medical specialists across Australia.

The combined offering of Citadel and Genie’s market leading health software creates a platform to drive innovation and improve patient outcomes both in Australia and the world over.

Together, Citadel and Genie share a vision to deliver a more connected healthcare journey, providing a powerful platform for clinicians, hospitals and practices to directly improve the clinical experience of patients. It will provide clinical teams with faster access to the most important data, supporting their decisions and allowing them to dedicate more time to optimising patient care.

This combined offering is the first time such world-class clinical diagnostics, treatment and practice management software has all been brought together. Genie Solutions CEO James Scollay said he and the whole Genie team were excited to embark on the next phase of growth as part of The Citadel Group.

“Citadel will be a great home for Genie, with its market-leading presence in clinical and diagnostic software servicing public and private sector clients throughout Australia, New Zealand and the UK. We are excited by the opportunities that the combined business can create.
