About the role

Position overview

The Citadel Health team is expanding rapidly and we are currently seeking an experienced Software Engineer with 5+ years C/C++ development on Linux in a commercial environment. The role will see you engaged in the software development, testing and maintenance of mission-critical health applications, and the development and maintenance of technical standards and documentation. 

Key responsibilities/accountabilities

You will be degree qualified in computer science or equivalent and have a proactive attitude towards delivering results and continued learning. Your high levels of motivation will complement your excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure and collaborate effectively within the team.   

Skills, knowledge and experience requirements

  • Experience with agile development processes, using Jira and Confluence for workflow and collaboration, is desirable but not essential
  • A demonstrated understanding of the purpose and formats of requirements documents, design documents, user guides, coding standards, blueprint and pattern guides, version control and peer reviews
